Visited on 16th November 1994. Two hut circles situated on a west facing slope of Little Mis Tor. The two huts which are unenclosed and of the simple plan type, survive as stone and earth banks surrounding a circular area. The interior of the northern hut measures 4.6 metres in diameter and is surrounded by a 0.8 metres wide and 0.35 metres high single orthostat wall, except on the north where it survives as a buried feature. The interior of the southern hut measures 6.3 metres in diameter and is surrounded by a 0.9 metres wide and 0.35 metres high single orthostat wall.

Butler, J., 1991, Dartmoor Atlas of Antiquities: Volume Two - The North, 72, Map 30, Site 6 (Monograph). SDV219155.

'Little Mis Tor West 3' consists of a pair of huts both of 6.5 metres diameter which are independent of the large settlements uphill and survive within a bank and ditched enclosure probably associated with the longhouses and cut through by a later tinners' gully. The area is very disturbed and there is no trace of a circuit wall, though some of the hut slabs are still in place.

Ordnance Survey, 2022, Mastermap 2022 (Cartographic). SDV364674.

One 'Hut Circle' shown on modern mapping.

Historic England, 2022, National Heritage List for England, 1016148 (National Heritage List for England). SDV364675.

Within Scheduled area.
