Summary

Vis=24/9/1980 (os). In a valley which has reverted from enclosed pasture to bracken and marsh-covered land, there are the remains of two buildings. Both are parallel with centrally placed and opposing entrance gaps. The internal measurements are 6.5m by 4.5m for the northern building and 6m by 3m for the southern. There is no visible walling as such, simply earth banks 1.6m wide and 0.7m high and which may conceal stonework. Period and purpose are obscure and investigation is hampered by a dense covering of bracken and furze (os).
