An anomaly coincides with a ring ditch, thought to be Bronze Age by its form, recorded as a cropmark on an aerial photograph. An anomaly within the ring ditch may be associated with it.

A ring ditch of probable prehistoric date is visible as a cropmark ditch on specialist oblique aerial photographs of 1984 and 1989, to the south of Old Rydon Lane. The well-defined circular cropmark measures approximately 11.5m in diameter and is located on gentle east facing slope, on the western side of the River Clyst and within an area where a number of cropmarks have been identified.
