A cropmark which has possibly formed over an infilled ditch of uncertain date is visible on oblique aerial photographs of 1984, to the south of Old Rydon Lane. The L-shaped cropmark is situated within an area where extensive cropmarks of potential prehistoric and Roman-British date have been identified and may be of contemporary date. The cropmark was, however, less convincing in nature and may also be the result of modern agricultural activity.
