Cropmarks of roughly parallel linear ditches are visible on aerial photographs of the 1980s and 1990s, defining a rectangular enclosure up to circa 50m across on the south-west facing slopes of a saddle of land north of Helwell Barton, Kenton. The enclosure is possibly of later prehistoric date and might be associated with two ring ditches of possible round houses, to the north and south.
