A dark rectilinear cropmark, circa 1.5 metres in width and covering an area of roughly 35 metres square, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1984. It is interpreted as having formed over the buried remains of a later prehistoric or Roman period enclosure ditch. The southern edge is not clear and this has been sketched in. The small number of control points may have resulted in some inaccuracy of the transcription location. Many of the aerial photographs consulted are copies of DAPs held by the Historic England Archive. These have been recorded here as additional separate sources because there is a possibility that the prints may have been processed differently. This would potentially result in images on which archaeological features show slightly differently.
