The SMR records a possible barrow a few yards west of Site No. 2824. The site (2003) laid under improved pasture within a fenced field containing livestock; the feature was then not visible from the perimeter fence.

This area is no longer part of the commons but is a pasture field with no public access. The trackway shown on the modern map running across the field from the road to Venn Ottery is a gated farm track.
