Dark linear cropmarks which have possibly formed over levelled ditches, circa 2m wide, are visible on oblique aerial photographs taken in 1984. The fragmented cropmarks possibly form the north and east sides of an enclosure of potential prehistoric or Romano-British date, although a geological or modern agricultural origin cannot be discounted. Cropmarks of a more convincing enclosure are visible to the immediate southwest MDV28897.
