West of winkleigh. Single ditched curvilinear enclosure c30m by at least 15m. Northern section visible on north side of modern road. Recorded as cropmark by F. Griffith in June 1984.

Site visit: December 1977. The site, possibly a late prehistoric or Romano-British settlement, lies in a pasture field on a south facing slope. There is no surface indication of any features in the field.
Further research is recommended before any construction is permitted.
