Bow, little langford. Large ring ditch (approx 27m diam) with faint inner ring. Recorded as cropmark by f. Griffith in june 1984. Possible further ring ditch (approx 30m diam) to the sw (dap).

Vis=7/3/1991 (simpson) the prominent ring ditch is situated on the top of the hill on the edge of its south facing slope. It survives as a slight mound standing approx 0.50m high. The possible feint ring ditch is on the south facing hillslope. No earthworks are visible (dprfp).

Rapid examination of ap shows one of these probable round barrow sites, of prehistoric or roman date, visible as a ring ditch cropmark (with indications of a possible inner ring) at ss72050063 (nmr citing miller).
