Full description

FLETCHER, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV10257.

The 4 barrows at bickleigh brake were surveyed by eh at 1:1000 in december 2001. The most northerly barrow a is described as a poorly defined + disturbed ovoid mound up to 22m across, 0.2m high, which has been almost destroyed by ploughing + desultory digging. The os plan of 1888 showed a slight horseshoe-shaped bank with a buried os triangulation block on its n side. Visible as a soilmark on 1995 aps (fletcher).
