Vis=-/1/1986 (pidgeon) area of fields called 'daggers' walked at 5m interval. Concentration of flints at above ngr (plan provided).3 pits of 1m square were dug in spring 1986: flints came both from ploughsoil and compacted clay layer approx 0.5m down. Field is due to be deep ploughed.
