Full description

McCrone, P., 1985, An Archaeological Survey of Some Dartmoor Woodlands, 33, fig 17 (Report - Survey). SDV360479.

(May 1985) Series of lynchets and fragmentary field boundaries recorded in walkover survey to the south of Coledridge Wood:
SX 771 887. Three lynchets run north-east by south-west up to 1 metre high. The most southernly continues the line of an old field boundary which probably fossilised the line of this lynchet.
SX 774 886. At least two lynchets run across the slope. The total extent is uncertain because of dense conifer growth hampering exploration. These are of unknown date.
SX 769 889 Length of possible field boundary. This is probably the very ruinous remains of a wall.
SX 774 883. Possible field boundary running parallel to modern wood boundary.

Environment Agency, 1998-2014, LiDAR DTM data (1m resolution) (Cartographic). SDV359177.

Three ridges appear to be discernable on the lidar data.
