Remains of a stone wall runs across slope now inside Charles wood. Soil has banked up against the uphill side to form a terrace up to 1m high. The line of this wall is continued beyond the wood edge by an existing field boundary wall.

Remains of a stone wall runs across slope now inside Charles wood. Soil has banked up against the uphill side to form a terrace up to 1m high. The line of this wall is continued beyond the wood edge by an existing field boundary wall.
