Hore Wood, other sites
A track links several of the charcoal hearths at the west end of the wood. It runs north-south following the approximate line of a stream from SX7460 8968 to SX7455 8929 with a branch runing east (for 200-300 metres) from SX7455 8953. Appears as a levelled area or linear depression up to 1 metre wide.
Parkins, M., 2017-2018, Fingle Wood archaeological features, C28 (Report - Survey). SDV362748.
Linear feature SX74577 89613 (identified as a ROAD in 1985 survey). Disturbed area of soil with a few small fragments of charcoal. As the feature is followed up hill it appears to have been damaged by subsequent track works (not recent).
