Cottage is depicted on the late 19th century historic map. Doesn't appear to be shown on the earlier 1840s Tithe Map.

Leigh Farm Cottage. Situated on the west side of the lane between Leigh Cross and the Exeter - Plymouth road, near the railway at Skew Bridge.
A small cottage with a small farm building attached. Two storeys; the south side. Has two small casement windows in upper floor, close to the eaves, with old slate sills; two windows in the ground floor. There is no door in the south side; the east wall against the lane is rough cement covered and has a projection at each side although an end wall stack is on the centre roof ridge. There is a slate drip-stone in the east wall below the stack. The only door is in north wall. One small window on ground level; this wall is buttressed.
A small farm building extends on the west end with doorway on the north side. The building has a modern slate roof, and the walls stone-built, have all been covered. 18th century or earlier.
