Rattery furzes plantation. Oval ditched enclosure, measuring about 60m x 80m. Recorded as cropmark july 1984 by f. Griffith.

Ap dap/bp 4,5 shows entrance at se. Vis=23/3/1985 (r. Robinson). South half of site shows as faint terrace in slope. Vis=27/8/1987 (robinson), 7/9/1987 (griffith and robinson). Faint earthwork bank visible on s side (dprfp).

Dark curvilinear cropmarks, interpreted as having formed over buried ditches of a sub-oval enclosure which measures circa 70m long by 60m wide, are visible on oblique aerial photographs taken in 1984. The morphology of the cropmarks suggests a late prehistoric or Roman date.
