Cropmarks which have formed over infilled ditches of a possible prehistoric to Romano-British enclosure are visible on aerial photographs of 1984 onwards, to the southeast of Winslade Park. The broadly trapezoidal shaped enclosure measures approximately 55m in length by 34m in width and is sited on gentle northwest facing slope. A possible entrance approximately 6m in width is visible along the southern edge of the enclosure, with traces of a possible outer ditch also visible to both the east and south. The corners vary from angular to well-rounded. A linear cropmark off the western corner of the enclosure may form part of an annexe or associated plot boundary.
