Old Gravel Pit at eastern end of Gravel Lane marked on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map.
Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.
The eastern extent of the gravel pit is shown on the 1904-1906 25 inch Ordnance Survey map but not marked. The western part has been incorporated into a Clay Pit which extends further to the north and west.
