Starcombe farmhouse probably 17th century altered. Small farmstead, stone rubble and cob. Thatched roof. Now rough cast. L-plan. Some additions, 2-light 19th century wood casements. Thatch "eyebrowed" over 1st floor window. Modern glazed porch added. Lean-to with corrugated iron roof to south (doe).
