Half a mile south of ugborough church and opposite the entrance to the estate that was formerly the vicarage, there are two houses known as "parsonage lodge" and "parsonage cottage". Parsonage lodge is on the totnes-plymouth road. A two-storey stone house with a stack at each end of the pitch roof gabled at both ends. Building has had additions. Reputedly 17th c. And originally two cottages (anon).
