DCRA, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV293031.

Gatepost, very primitive (worth). Vis=28/9/1979 (dcra) slotted granite gatepost. In the south east boundary of this field, near the entrance to blackslade drive from the road, it has drill marks on it, indicating that the slots were put in after 1803 according to worth. This makes it a comparative rarity, most of the slotted gateposts dating from earlier than the introduction of the drilling technique of splitting stones (dcra).
