Summary

Frithelstock priory. North range probable refectory. Vis=4/11/1986 (weddell). Now occupied by a single large building which abutts the farmhouse on the west side. It is possible that it reflects the alignment of the monastic layout, more particularly in the north and south walls. A round headed arch of a blocked doorway exists in the south wall which may contain medieval fabric. A well set with in a vaulted chamber was discovered in 1976 just outside the south wall (weddell).

Frithelstock priory. North range probable refectory. Vis=4/11/1986 (weddell). Now occupied by a single large building which abutts the farmhouse on the west side. It is possible that it reflects the alignment of the monastic layout, more particularly in the north and south walls.
