Full description
Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV1142.
Vis=-/10/1985 (dudley). Sketch details of roof structure and three mullioned wood windows given (these have complex iron catches and original glass). The roof shows evidence of decorated arched braces and complex mortices (sketched). One barn has a jointed cruck truss and a cranked collar - rest of building cob (worksheet).

Pitt farmhouse bears date in freshly plastered front 1215. Two storeys. Thatched. Porch. Three gables on side of porch. Some old casement windows. House was being reconditioned at time of visit. Stone trough in farm yard has incised on side i. A.1778 (doe).
