Cropmarks of levelled ditches are visible on oblique aerial photographs taken in 1984, to the south of Higher Penn, Staverton. The well-defined dark cropmarks form a sub-square enclosure which measures 35m long by 32m wide, with angular corners and a possible entrance to the southeast. Its form and proximity to other enclosures identified in this area would suggest a late prehistoric or Romano-British date. The cropmarks are not visible on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey.
