Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV176976.

Ennaton lime-kiln; in a field 18m. East of the road at ennaton farm, opposite the farmhouse. A semi-circular structure of slate-stone built into bank of rising ground, about 4.572m high. Top is thickly overgrown with ivy. There are 2 ovens, one on s. Side and one on w. S. Oven is 2.438m high with segmental arch of stone blocks; 3.046m wide and the same deep. The west oven is slightly higher, 2.438m and about 3.658m deep. Old lime quarry north of farmhouse. Tithe map register, c.1846, lists "quarry plot", "lime quarry" and "lime kiln".
