(21/09/1994) A silted leat channel, now dry, extends for 350 metres along the western flanks of Conies Down between NGR SX 57587914 and SX 57707959. The channel is 1.0 metre wide and 0.2 to 0.3 metres deep. It seems to have taken water from the headstream of Spriddle Lake, possibly to supply streamworks further down the Walkham Valley (NMR SX 57 NE 82).
