Full description

Building shown on 19th century map.

Outbuilding about 10 metres north-west of Lower Bonehill farmhouse, possibly 17th century or earlier. Granite rubble. Roof covered with corrugated iron. One storey with loft. Loft door has wrought-iron hinges. Beneath it the remains of an external stone staircase. Roof timbers are 20th century.

Small stables immediately north-west of Lower Bonehill farmhouse. Old work-horse stables with external steps in the form of single boulders protruding from the walls and giving access to the hay loft on the eastern gable. Original unglazed window slits are built into all four walls. Other details: Figures 35 and 38.

Outbuilding 10 metres north-east of Lower Bonehill Farmhouse was Listed on 3rd November 1986. Outbuilding possibly built in the 17th century or earlier of granite rubble under a roof covered with corrugated iron. One storey with loft. In east gable-wall a loft door with old wrought-iron hinges. Beneath it the remains of an external stone staircase. Roof- timbers of 20th century. Other details: LBS Number 441635.
