Also known as Scobetor until the early 20th century. House dates to at least 1725 but had been greatly altered when surveyed in 1979 from its mid 19th century depiction on the Tithe Map.

Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Scobetor. Field no 841, house and yard, garden.

Visited 6/7/1979 The house has been greatly enlarged and there are many more outbuildings than in 1843, including a covered yard. House faces south-east with a gabled porch, mullioned windows and 1725 marked on the porch. In the farmyard there is an enclosed pool with a platform.
