Farmstead shown on 19th century Tithe Map. The Apportionemtn for 'West Sholleford' lists Field Number 1584 as 'House & Garden'.

Site visited on 13th July 1979. An old longhouse with the lower half still a shippon. Inside is a large hearth and in front of the house there is an annexe.
Laithwaite, M., 1987, West Shallowford (Personal Comment). SDV293510.
Site visited in 1985. The house is now altered out of all recognition, and externally could be taken to date from the 20th century.
