Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
Two rectangular buildings in small enclosures shown on 19th century Tithe Map. The Apportionment for 'Sherwill Estate' lists Field Number 2238 as 'House & Yard' and Field Number 2237 as 'Garden'.

Site visited on 15th May 1979. House rebuilt in 1905. Other buildings rebuilt circa 1960. According to local information the name could originate from when rogues of tinners lived there.
