Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
Depicted on the Tithe Map dated 1843. Field no 1065 on Apportionment; 'Garden and house'.

(6/7/1979) According to the owner of the house next door, this cottage was built in one day. It is the oldest of the Linchaford buildings.

The HER record states that this building is depicted as a smithy on the 1906 historic map. This could not be verified on the version of the mapping that is used at Dartmoor National Park Authority.
