Summary

Vis=22/5/1979 (dcra). Possible path of leat for mill or blowing house. A ditch lined on lower side with granite stones end to end, which face up hill. Starts at boundary wall of rowbrook (just above no 2166 waste) and continues traceably for some 40 yards. Beyond that it has not been examined. If the leat was taken off simon's lake near the point where it emerges from oldsbrim fields it could reach this point following contours (dcra).
