Pearce, s. M. /bronze age metalwork of sw britain/(1983)436(bar 120). Palstave, double-looped. Length 164mm, blade width 50mm. Now in christchurch museum on loan from the russell-coates museum (pearce).

A Bronze Age double-looped palstave, found in Chagford parish, is 6 1/2 inches long with a tongue shaped moulding above the stop ridge. It is now in the Russell-Cotes Museum, Bournemouth. (Probably part of the hoard found at Quintertown, Chagford in 1868 (SX 78 NW 3).
