Summary

Streamworking remains flank the small, unnamed right bank tributary of the River Avon south of Huntingdon Warren. Long linear spoil heaps and water channels are present throughout the workings, the upper reaches of which are enclosed by a massive tinner's cliff up to 3.0m high. There are no contemporary structures associated with these remains.

(31/01/1996) Centred at SX65676582. Approximately 2.0ha of streamworking remains flank the small, unnamed right bank tributary of the River Avon S of Huntingdon Warren. Long linear spoil heaps and water channels are present throughout the workings, the upper reaches of which are enclosed by a massive tinner's cliff up to 3.0m high. There are no contemporary structures associated with these remains.
