Vis=-/5/1981 (major + keene). Informal fieldwalking.231 flint and 17 chert pieces recovered (worksheet). Vis=12-20/10/1985 (major + keene + snow + tarbox). Field divided into strips and all finds from individual strips kept seperate as well as rough plotting.421 flint and 18 chert pieces recovered including a leaf shaped arrowhead, 3 transverse arrowheads and a small chert axe (worksheet). Vis=the indications are that there is later neolithic activity at the ne end of field and earlier neolithic activity at sw end continuing from adjacent field ss91se/273 (berridge).
