NMR, SS51SW15 (National Monuments Record Database). SDV6364.


Clarke, K. M., 1920, The Baptismal Fonts of Devon, Part 7, 332 (Article in Serial). SDV320749.

A scalloped bowl font of freestone. Three cones on each side with darts between. Necking and base are round mouldings. Chamfered plinth. Basin square and unlined. Rim hollowed to receive the cover, carved pyramidial, Jacobean. On W side of plinth the corners have masks lying face upwards. On E sides, two lozenge-shaped bosses, the one to the S moulded. NE window depicting Edward the Confessor, St. Margaret, and St. Anthony. Placed there during restorations.
