Full description

Chapman, G. M., 1983, Dalwood, A Short History of an East Devon Village, 17 (Monograph). SDV351908.

Dalwood had its own fisheries in the 15th and 16th centuries. The court rolls of 1573-74 contain an entry of "12 pence received from the rent for the fishery of the water of this manor. " Many manors had fishponds but there is no indication as to where Dalwood had one or whether in fact stretches of the Corry were ponded-up.
