Full description

Possibly shown as a small feature to the north of the house on 19th century map.
Unknown, 1975, Ugborough Parish Checklist (Worksheet). SDV340848.
Wood Farm, butterwell. Fashioned from large slate slabs set into the bank. Spring ran under this from source in high ground to the north of the old part of the house.
