Bodman, M., 1998, Water-Powered Sites in Devon (Report - non-specific). SDV305931.

The mill was built in 1845-7 and ceased work in the 1920s. It was part of the manor of bratton. An overshot waterwheel located to the rear of the mill provided power (bodman).
