Vis=23/3/1995 (horner) base of pillbox on e side of beach. Built into beach-back wall with flight of concrete steps down from mill. Only the stubs of the walls and the base of the rear door aperture survive (horner).

Vis=estimated -/-/1984 (national trust). One of a pair of concrete pillboxes built in the 1940's to defend the beach against landings only the bases remain. The base nearest the mill (sx54nw/4) all but destroyed by storm damage (national trust).
