Vis=20/3/1984 (belsey). Remains of a two span bridge of stone sleepers to small island in ruddycleave water as it runs down a steep hillside in hardridge wood. No sign of the rest of it. Probably washed away in severe floods in 1938. Possibly used by charcoal burners of the 19th century or forestry operations of the same period (belsey).
