GREEVES PERS COMM, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV285288.

Vis=9/3/1986 (greeves, pers comm) could be either a grist or crazing mill, but the presence of the slotted stone indicates the latter. The building possibly originally extended beyond the rebuilt wall containing the slotted stone, with the wheel pit at the south end. There is an outflow from this point which rejoins the stream a few metres lower down (greeves, pers comm).

BRUCE + BELSEY + SYKES, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV314185.

A ruined structure built into the bank below ruddycleave farm may be associated with the streamwork sx77sw/144. A reused slotted stone in a nearby field wall suggests there may have been a crazing mill on the site (bruce + belsey + sykes).
