Full description
BELSEY, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV282345.
Stone built and slated roofed farm house with kitchen with open hearth two bedrooms dairy. Bullock house with 3 calf pens. Two loose boxes and cart shed. Two stall stable with loft over barn. Implement shed. Two pig houses etc.(buckland court estate sale catalogue). Vis=16/2/1985 (hillhouse pers comm). The house has now been completely rebuilt except for the north end where one wall and a window remain. The farm buildings belong to higher pudsham now (hillhouse pers comm). Vis=16/2/1985 (belsey). Pudsham formerly lower pudsham farm. Situated on the steep north west facing slope overlooking the wooded valley of the east webburn. A sunken lane approx 200m long leads from the buckland/cockingford road opposite higher pudsham farm and continues past the house towards the woods below.
