Unknown, 1735, Record office reference: 74/52 Survey of Lands of E. P. Bastard (Report - Survey). SDV290868.

Suggests the wood dates to at least the early 18th century.


Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

The Buckland-in-the-Moor Tithe Map names the wood, although the digital version overlaps
