Outbuilding about 10 metres south-west of Ruddycleave Farmhouse. Original use unknown, probably 18th century or earlier, extended at south-west end in 19th century. Granite rubble construction; the older part with large, roughly dressed quoins and with massive boulders at the base of the walls. Asbestos slated roof. Apex of gable towards house weatherboarded, possibly because this end of roof half-hipped originally. Gable at opposite end has decorative slate-hanging on the verges. One storey. Only one opening, a doorway with plain wood lintel, in long south-east wall to farmyard. Slit window in gable-end towards house. Opposite gable-end was originally open, but has been infilled with corrugated iron. 20th century roof-structure. Other details: LB UID: 85245.
