Full description

Track shown on os 6" 1964 map. Vis=21/6/1983 (belsey). Cart track leading from higher pudsham farm to pudsham down at moor gate was once the boundary between pudsham and challamoor farms. It is now wholly in pudsham land. There are walls and banks and a hedge on the challamoor side. The hedge has 7 species in 30m - oak, ash, rowan, sycamore, beech, may and blackthorn: quite exceptional in the area at this height.(belsey). Vis=the field on the southern side at the pudsham farm end of this lane is called hayes (dro).
