Name:Hut circle adjacent to a reave on Buckland Common

Summary

Located south of the reave which serves as the southern boundary wall of the smaller of the two prehistoric settlements on Buckland Common and just north of an area of clitter. The reave diverges around the site. The interior is sunken to an approximate depth of 0.6 metres, coursed stone is visible in the interior wall and there is no apparent entrance.

Visited 19/5/1985. Hut circle. Situated 2 metres south of the reave which serves as the southern boundary wall of the smaller of the two prehistoric settlements on Buckland Common and just north of an area of clitter. The reave diverges around the site, which is quite outside the enclosures. The interior is sunken to an approximate depth of 0.6 metres coursed stone is visible in the interior wall and there is no apparent entrance.
