(24/03/1950) Cairn in good condition. Diameter measures 17.0m, 1.7m high.

Western Beacon cairn '6' at SX65435762 of 21 metres diameter by 2.5 metres high retains its bowl shape without even a central pit and may not be badly damaged.

According to the Schedule List there are two cairns to the NE of Western Beacon cairn, between there and SX65475765 (from the map extract) being 12.0m in diameter and 1.0m high, and 23.0m diameter by 1.7m high. This group of three cairns are all scheduled: 10546 (citing English Heritage Schedule of Ancient Monuments Amendment: OCT-1991).
