The fabric of the lych gate is possibly 17th century but was rebuilt in the 19th century. It has stone rubble walls supporting a cruciform gabled slate roof. There is an inscribed stone plaque on the bargeboards to the front dated 1677. In front of the gate is a flight of pebbled stone steps.

Decorative bargeboards to front gable incorporating stone plaque inscribed March 13 1677/George Westcott Rector/Thomas Tucker, John Reed, Churchwardens. Chamfered timber tie-beams. Cross-frame has bar-stopped chamfered uprights. Timber gates, panelled at the base and pierced with trefoils, the upper part cross-framed to form 9 open square panels to each gate. Flight of pebbled stone steps in front.
